Self-Archiving Policy
The Nangarhar University Social Sciences Journal (NUSSJ) permits authors to self-archive all versions of their manuscript, including the submitted version, accepted manuscript, and the final published version, without any embargo.
Authors may deposit their articles in:
-
Institutional repositories
-
Subject-based repositories (e.g., PubMed Central, Europe PMC, arXiv)
-
Authors’ personal websites
-
Departmental websites
-
Academic and scholarly networking platforms (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)
When self-archiving or sharing the article, authors must clearly acknowledge the original publication in NUSSJ by providing:
-
Full bibliographic details (author(s), article title, journal title, volume, issue, and page numbers)
-
A direct link to the published article, including the DOI (where available)
-
A link to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)
-
An indication of the article’s published status (e.g., “Published in NUSSJ”)
This policy is consistent with the journal’s open-access model and the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which allows unrestricted reuse, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
