Processing Fee
At Nangarhar University Social Science Journal, we are committed to providing open access to all of our published content. To ensure the continued accessibility and quality of the journal, we require a processing and publication fee from the authors, or on their behalf by their institution or funding body, upon the acceptance of their research papers.
Our services cover several critical steps, including editing, proofreading, quality checks, website maintenance, plagiarism checking, and other essential aspects. The Article Processing Charge (APC) helps support the comprehensive process involved in making your manuscript available for publication.
Why Does Nangarhar University Social Science Journal Charge an Article Processing Fee (APF)?
The Nangarhar University Social Science Journal uses the processing fees to cover essential expenses related to journal production. These include web hosting, database management, content management systems (CMS), online repository, archiving, peer review, editing, and maintenance of our open-access publication model.
The journal's operations are sustained by the publication fees paid by authors. These fees cover employee salaries, internet services, electricity, the cost of plagiarism detection services, and other operational expenses. Importantly, we do not receive any remuneration from article views or subscription fees, as all of our publications are available under the Open Access policy.
